1. Before acting, stop and ask yourself if what you are about to say and do is going to create hate, fear, and admiration or confidence, self awareness and responsibility.

2. Each Person is just an expression of their current potential. It is advised to feel compassion and forgiveness and acceptance for their faults, if not for their sake, then for your own.

3. Resist the temptation to compel others to believe and live as you do and from judging them if they don’t.

4. Make up your own mind, live by your knowing rather than through the experiences of others.

5. Keep your energy field uncontaminated. Do not allow toxic people into your energy field.

6. If confronted with aggression or negativity take immediate action. Consciously send thoughts of kindness and love, and remove yourself in a conflict free way.

7. It makes no sense to worry about things you have no control over, because you have no control over them, it makes no sense to worry. It makes no sense to worry about things you have control over, because if you have control, it makes no sense to worry.

8. What happens to you is not as important as your reaction to what is happening to you.

9. This world cannot be completely safe, perfect and certain. Even if you tried to create or find perfection all the time you could not do it! All you I do is you ruin your present moment. Learn to tolerate some uncertainty & adversity, to allow & accept some imperfection and suffering. It’s part of life and makes you enjoy the good moments even more.

10. Do not desire to have things done and accomplished quickly, it prevents great affairs from being accomplished.

11. Life is school. If for some reason, your soul has chosen a steep path, a tough challenge, be reminded that this adversity gives you the chance to be courageous, to be faithful, to be determined, to come out stronger and more compassionate.

12. All that we face and endure, the obstacles, challenges, set backs, they all serve the ultimate purpose of life. If you could see the bigger picture, you knew that everything is proceeding according to a greater plan - The evolution of your consciousness.

13. Don’t aim at success – the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. Happiness does happen, and the same holds for success - you have to let it happen by not caring about it too much. Listen to what your conscience commands you to do and go on to carry it out to the best of your knowledge. Then you will live to see that in the very long run success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to pursue it, forgotten to chase it, forgotten to worry about it, forgotten to think of it.

14. Do not waste any thoughts on the how, the when, the where, and the why. The purpose of life is to live in the here and now.

15. Be Here Now. Present Moment is the only real time that you actually live your life. Stay focused on each moment at a time as it comes to you. When thoughts about the tasks ahead enter your mind, acknowledge them, and move your attention back to the present.

16. Nothing you see means anything. You have given everything you see all the meaning that it has for you.

17. Enlightenment is not a state of consciousness that one will some day achieve by adopting the right spiritual practices and by working diligently toward becoming enlightened. The expectation is that once we are fully enlightened, all our problems will disappear and we will live in a constant state of bliss.

18. You can go to all the workshops you want, read all the spiritual books you like, yet understand that your life is your path, not what you do in a workshop or read in a book. Enlightenment does not begin in a lotus position in a cave in the Himalayas. It is not something you will get from a guru or a course of study.

19. Enlightenment is not an attainment or a destination, it is a way of life. Just being ordinary in itself can be an expression of divinity. The truth of one’s self, as well as enlightenment, can be discovered through the pathway of ordinary life.

20. Be enlightened in everything you do, every decision you make. Being enlightened is not a means to eliminate life’s ordinary daily tasks. It is to master life’s ordinary daily tasks in an enlightened manner.

21. Simply have the discipline to act with constant and universal forgiveness and gentleness toward everything and everyone, including oneself.

22. It is necessary to be childlike one’s entire life, to play, to be amused, to enjoy the moment without doubt, without skepticism, without judgment, without logic.

23. The less desires and needs a person has the greater the degree of freedom experienced.

24. To love vanilla, you don’t have to hate chocolate.

25. You have the right to be and do well. You are worthy of comfort, success and peace in your life.

My (Currently) Favorite Quotes:

“Now looking at the shelf where I keep my permanent collection of books, I see I’ve managed to sort through and give to a public library almost all my volumes on theology and philosophy. They represent guides to mental mountain ranges I’ve slogged my way across. I don’t plan to go back that way. The woods are too thick, the air too thin, and being snowed in there in blizzards of unrelenting analytical thought is depressing.”

Robert Fulghum

“Allow & Accept Imperfection. Tolerate Uncertainty. This world cannot be completely safe, perfect and certain. We must accept that the world is not perfect. We are not perfect, nor need we be. Even if you tried to create or find perfection all the time - The Perfect Marriage. The Perfect Home. The Perfect Career, The Perfect Religion/Philosophy/Spirituality,…you could not do it! All you do is you ruin your present moment. Learn to tolerate some adversity and some suffering. It’s part of life and makes you enjoy the good moments even more.”

“Slow down everyone
You’re moving too fast
Frames can’t catch you when
You’re moving like that
And just slow down everyone
You’re moving too fast
Frames can’t catch you when
You’re moving like that…”

“Inaudible Melodies” JACK JOHNSON

“What is there to know?
All this is what it is
You and me alone
Sheer simplicity…”

Know-How by Kings Of Convenience

“Don’t talk Don’t say nothing
I just packed my things
And I’m headed for something
Where I’m going
Well, I don’t really know
The road is calling
So I’ve got to go…”

“The Road” by Matt Costa

“I no longer believe that I have any answers. And I’m now even suspicious of my questions. But more will be revealed and I am dang skippy surrendered to whatever occurrs in the meantime.”

THE SCIENCE BEHIND OUR WISDOMTEES

In the widely successful movie What The Bleep Do We Know, Doctor Masaru Emoto is mentioned as a scientist who became interested in the molecular structure of water, Water crystals and what affects it.

If you have seen the “Bleep” movie, or read Emotos’ books, you’ll remember that Dr. Emoto set up a series of studies where he printed out a variety of negative, destructive words and words of love and appreciation, he taped them to bottles of distilled water, and photographed the Water crystals with a dark field microscope.

I read Emoto’s book back in the late nineties, and I was hooked ever since.

He provided the evidence that words, pictures, music, or basically everything, were energetically charged and our body & soul energy was responsive to them.

Now it made sense to me why some movies or music made me “feel” something on a much deeper level, way beyond the obvious emotions of sadness, anger, joy or fear.

Dr. Emoto confirmed my belief that we are all on some miraculous level connected with the universal energy, an energy that knows far more than we do.

He provided scientific evidence that our soul energy level, which is beyond our normal consciousness, knows good from bad, healthy from unhealthy, strengthening from weakening, positive from negative, truth from false…

Messages from Water - Water Messages

The photographs of the water crystals shown in the “what the bleep” movie were each dramatically different. Dr. Emoto’s water crystals exposed to loving words showed brilliant, complex, and colorful snowflake patterns, while the water crystals exposed to negative words formed incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colors.
Now, this true power of water is really fascinating when you keep in mind that 90% of our bodies are water.

You and I, everyone, we are all water bottles on two legs…

If water is able to absorb human feelings and emotions, if water is deeply connected to people’s consciousness, then Emoto’s water crystal photographs are proof that what affects water must affect us…

“Makes you wonder doesn’t it? If words can do that to water imagine what our words can do to us.”

WANT GO EVEN DEEPER DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?

kinesiology: -n. The study of muscles and their movements, esp. as applied to physical conditioning. [Gk. kinesis, movement ( kinein, to move) +-logy.)

Behavioral Kinesiology’s discovery is that indicator muscles would strengthen or weaken in the presence of positive or negative emotional and intellectual stimuli.

Some results are perplexing: certain pictures with negative content (such as a picture of Adolf Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, Fidel Castro & Stalin) would cause subjects to test weak, while other pictures (such as Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, Buddha & Gandhi) caused subjects to test strong.

Virtually all classical music and most pop music (including “classic” rock-and-roll) causes a universally strong response, the “hard” or “metal” rock as well as gangster rap produced a universally weak response.

In 1975 Dr. David Hawkins began research on the kinesiological response to truth and falsehood, tapping into an inner sub-rational wisdom that can differentiate truth and healthy from false and unhealthy.

In over 250,000 Kinesiologic calibrations/muscle tests spanning a 20 year study, conducted by Dr. Hawkins at the Institute of Advanced Spiritual Research Hawkins in Sedona, Hawkins defined a range of values corresponding to well-recognized attitudes and emotions, localized by specific attractor energy fields.

With an arbitrary scale of 1-1000 (below 200 weakening, above 200 strengthening) and the ©Map of Consciousness format, Dr. David R. Hawkins displays the classification of these energy fields to make them easily comprehensible. (For more information about Kinesiology and the ©Map of Consciousness please go to http://www.veritaspub.com/)

It raises the question - Is the human brain, at some primal level, a wondrous computer linked with a universal energy field, that knows far more than it knows it knows?
I think so…

Imagine now, how different your “water” or your “soul energy” will react if you wear a Gandhi t-shirt instead of a Charles Manson, or a shirt that says “peace & love” instead of “fuck bush”, if you listen to Mozart or Norah Jones instead of 50 Cents and Marylin Manson, if you watch movies such as Field of Dreams, Amelie and Big Blue, instead of Godfather, Scarface, Saw and Pulp Fiction.

Since words seem much more powerful than we had originally anticipated, we better be more aware about what kind of “words” we read, listen to, think and speak, and also what kind of words we wear.

As Emoto and Hawkins have scientifically proven, everything is energy, including us, and words have a clear impact on our personal well-being as well as the health of our communities and planet…
